Brooklyn Dash preview

Preview panel from my upcoming comic book "Brooklyn Dash." I added color for no reason. The final book will almost certainly be in black and white.

Also, this panel will not be in the final book.

Amazing Spider-man sample pages

Recently finished up a set of 5 samples pages from an Amazing Spider-man sample script. Learned a lot through the process, specifically with figures, backgrounds, and spotting blacks.

I loved the Gremlins movies when I was little. This is a drawing for my sketch blog group at http://draw-this.tumblr.com.

Some fan art for the TV show "Glee", which might be my favorite show right now. Just had to get this out of my system.

Naomi and Winston pages (line art)

I realized that I didn't have the line art for these posted yet. So, here they are.

Scott Pilgrim Wars

Scott Pilgrim poster, done in the same layout as the original Star Wars poster. We had a school assignment which required us to take a famous image and make changes to it. Gideon has taken the place of Darth Vader. Stephen Stills and Kim Pine are in place of C-3PO and R2-D2, respectively. The moon has 2 holes in it because of the events in Scott Pilgrim Vol. 3. Also, the city in the background is based on Toronto. I freaking love the Scott Pilgrim series. Watercolor on illustration board, 11 by 18 inches.

Illustration based on the video game "Bioshock", done as an assignment for school. I've never played the game, but the designs and the story are very intriguing.

I tried to make the little sister a little less creepy than they appear in the game.

Plundered Hearts

This is a 4-page story I just finished drawing for writer/friend Jake Bell. It will be appearing in an anthology entitled "Pirate Heart Ninja" that will feature some other talented Arizona creators and be debuting at the Phoenix Comic Con in May.

I had a lot of fun drawing this very clever and funny story. Jake played to some of my strengths by setting the story in high school, plus I busted out the inkwash and indulged some of my cartoonier tendencies.

Naomi and Winston pages

These pages show Naomi and Winston in action. I drew these pages a few months ago, so all I see now are the mistakes, unfortunately. I've been working on narrative assignments a lot recently, so hopefully I will have more to post soon.
